This plan is intended for use by all members of the Kitimat Emergency Program in the event of a major emergency. It is also intended to proved guidance during the recovery phase. The guidelines and checklists included reflect the requirements of the British Columbia Emergency Response Management System (BCERMS). These guidelines represent a recommended best practise for local authorities, private sector and the federal government operating in BC. It is also intended to provide guidance during the recovyer phase.
